It feels nice to see different types of hair styles being appreciated here. As a blasian it feels like two of my worlds are being combined. The outcome exceeded my expectations, It's rare where you can find hairstylists in Asia who can manage to create these types of styles.
As a black woman I just want to put out that Korean people seem to think all hairstyles where the hair is braided and long are called Reggae hair but it’s not. Dreadlocks, box braids, Fulani braids they are all different.
it looks good. Its very interesting to see different techniques applied here. I've never seen hair done through this method before 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
That was A M A Z I N G !!! I had never seen anything like this before and I'm totally captivated by the concept and hairstyling skills of Buddha. The model looks GREAT! Thank you Kiu for this video. I also want to touch that hair. It looks soft and fabulous when it is swinging. HairStyleRocks!
Very interesting to watch how they achieve that look.Kiu is always trying to learn new skills. That's why he is so good at what he does.
I think this def would’ve been better if it incorporated the history behind locks and Afro-textured hair and maybe even included a black model/stylist. It’s not just “reggae” style- this is an entire culture of people not a fad.
I’m from the UK, nor Asian and I have watched a few videos just now and I really like your channel. It’s very cool and different ! Looking forward to watching some more x
I normally love to watch Kiu videos however as a Black Jamaican this made me feel some type of way. I love to see people appreciating our culture and I started to watch this with an open mind however when he said Reggae hair I lost it… This is not the best way to learn about someone else’s art
I understand ppl in the comments wanting them to be educated but to me in a country where they have basically no curly hair care products, are a homogeneous country, have only begun to progress after WWII I think they're doing great. Getting people exposed to something drums up interest which leads to learning. They're using a stereotype as its the only way they have understanding of and exposure to the concept of black hair and culture.
